More than a year ago we started projects with students from N.Zealand. On 26,November we met and talked by Skype. We were very excited to watch their classroom, monster and Cheburashka. They are going to have summer holidays and we are going to have winter holidays! We live in different hemispheres but we have the same favourite things such as ice-cream or pets.

Hello friends,
It was very exciting for us to talk to you! We enjoyed getting to know you better (thanks for answering our questions), we can see that Kiri the Kiwi is being very well looked after and we were amazed at the beautiful snow scene outside your window.
Best wishes,
The Livewires, New Zealand

I think the best lesson my students learn when they have opportunities to speak to students from different countries is how alike they are. I think the more of this we do, the more connected our students feel to others and the more caring and empathy they have.
