What an absoluelty fantastic show. The great thing for me as a teacher is that I learnt something - I didn't know what Valenki meant but now I did, I can show this to my students and share it with them. The photographs looked fantastic! There was also a huge amount of work that had gone into the crafts. What a wonderful post. Tell your students that we like their work in New Zealand!

I loved your fashion show. What a great idea. I guess we could do the same thing, but we would have to substitute jeans. I think they are more representative of our culture.

Wow! What lovely photos of your fantastic creations. I really liked the ones with pink on them. Did it take you a long time to make?

Thanks for your comments. My students will be glad. Some decorations really took much time. But some girls are only 8 years old and they made it.
Valenki is our Siberian reality.
I'm sure you'll learn many new and interesting facts about our culture
