I happened upon your blog by looking for fireplace scenes. I live in Orlando, FL, and I have never seen the amount of snow you call "normal". And I loved your Valenki show - you all have great talent. I think I shall enjoy learning more about life in Siberia through the eyes of your students. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all! www.walterhome.blogspot.com

I would like to participate in your project. I think this is a very interesting project. I am not a student in a classroom like your New Zealand (I have been to New Zealand) or Orlando FL (I have been three too, but a 75 year old grandmother, greatgrandmother, who may seem VERY old to you. However I have 14 year old twin grandchildren, I hope I can introduce to you.

If any of you want to be friends with me on my Facebook go to Elizabeth Christian facebook, and I can put you in touch with a lot of really neat kids your own age. They are from all over the world. My grandchildren's close friends are from Columbia SA, Peru SA, India, China, Nicaragua. Their own great grandfather and grandmother came here about 1925 from Vilma which I believe is between Russia and Lithuania.

Thanks for finding me.

Oh, and I set out once my granddaughter put me on to Facebook and I have set out to get out to get a Facebook friend from every country in the world. Just this morning I have had

1. A Chinese woman give me her opinion on censorship in China.
(not worried)
2. A Norway law student, who has already spent 20 years as a seaman and whose mother is a doctor
3. A television anchor from Jordon who commented on our economic situation...which is bad.

Best wishes on your project
Elizabeth
