Nice video. When I was growing up (in Southwestern Missouri, USA) I would sit in front of the picture window and watch hundreds of birds come to eat seeds my father put out. He would put suet (fat from meat) out for the woodpeckers to eat. It was a beautiful sight seeing all the colorful birds eating in the snow covered pine trees.

Hi my name is Jamie from New Zealand. On the 23rd of March we played a game called greedy pig the rules are...
1: A person roles a dice.
2: Students can bank the number and keep the score or add numbers for each roll.
3: If the person roles a dice, rolls a '2' then the players who haven't banked lose their points.
3: You play once for every letter of 'Greedy Pig' and the winner has the most points at the end.

This is a great video. Was this made right outside your classroom window? I have a squirrel feeder, but I don't think I am going to feed them this summer. You see this winter, they ate through the wood of my house and got into the attic. Now I am trying to get them out!

We would love to make connections with other schools and think one way to do that would be to list our favorite blogs on our blogroll. We have listed you and ask that you consider listing us as a blog you follow. Thank you.

The first answer is for Jamie.
Students in most schools in Russia go to school on Saturdays. However,it depends on the choice of each school.
In most schools students study English, German, French and Spanish.
Greedy pig seems to be really an interesting game!

This is a great video! What kinds of birds are they?
We have a small bird called a phoebe that lives in our backyard. He perches on a tree, then swoops down and catches insects in flight! He’s fun to watch!

I am a third grade teacher from California, USA, and I found your blog through Pam’s blog at CO-Connections! We have added both of your blogs to our blog and look forward to following your learning. We would love to be added to your blog roll.

Keep up the good work!
